Secret garden

We are off to a life on the ocean waves today and I thought we should have something a little heartier as we've got quite a while until we get to eat again. I had promised my ever present standby now an oeuf en cocotte, and just thought I'd use what was left in my almost bare fridge. I didn't really consider I was preparing this for an infamous vegetable dodger as I chopped up my remaining organic leeks, added the last sliver of Parma ham and top with grated Cheddar and and an egg. This was finished off with some buttered toasted soldiers for dunking.
Whoops, sorry about all those leeks M, you can have two weeks of vegetable avoiding if you like!
