Sprouting duck
It’s the end of all the magnificence of the dining over the festive season but I had some of D’s sprouts left over from her last organic box delivery and as a sprout believer I thought I should whip myself up a little duck, creamed Brussels sprouts with bacon and a nice handful of mâche . And very tasty it is too; it doesn’t feel like too much austerity to start the new year (possibly because it isn’t!) and it really hit’s the spot.
